Finance Manager - STRIDES Project Job at FHI 360 Kampala

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial aspects of the STRIDES project in Uganda
- Develop and monitor project budgets and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with FHI 360 financial policies and donor requirements
- Oversee financial transactions and accounting procedures
- Lead financial planning and analysis for project activities
- Manage project cash flow and financial risk
- Supervise finance team members and provide capacity building
- Coordinate with project partners on financial management
- Prepare timely financial reports for donors and stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA) required
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance management
- Experience with international NGO financial management essential
- Strong knowledge of Ugandan financial regulations and tax laws
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with USAID or other donor-funded projects preferred
