Finance and Administration Manager Job at World Vision International - Kampala

World Vision International Uganda is seeking an experienced Finance and Administration Manager to join our team in Kampala. This senior leadership position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee financial operations and administrative functions for our country programme.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and oversee all project budgets, financial reporting, and accounting operations
• Ensure strict compliance with donor regulations (including USAID requirements) and organisational policies
• Lead procurement processes and logistics operations for the country programme
• Supervise and mentor human resources and administrative staff members
• Prepare accurate financial statements and comprehensive donor reports
• Coordinate effectively with internal and external auditors
• Develop and implement financial controls and risk management strategies

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA or ACCA) is mandatory
• Minimum 8 years of progressive finance management experience in NGO sector
• Demonstrated experience with USAID funding and compliance regulations
• Strong leadership capabilities and team management skills
• Excellent proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Thorough understanding of Ugandan financial regulations and tax laws
