Engineering Supervisor - Pre-Opening Hotel Job in Kampala

Marriott International, the world's leading hospitality company, is seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor for our new pre-opening hotel in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the launch team for a prestigious international hotel brand in Uganda's capital city.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate engineering operations during pre-opening phase
• Oversee installation and commissioning of hotel systems and equipment
• Manage maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with Marriott standards
• Lead and train engineering team members in proper procedures
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for timely project completion
• Implement preventive maintenance programs for all hotel facilities
• Ensure safety standards and protocols are maintained throughout the property

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience in hotel engineering or facilities management
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Previous pre-opening hotel experience preferred
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours during pre-opening phase
• Valid engineering certification from recognised Ugandan institution
