Dispenser Job in Kololo - Pharmacy Technician at C-Care IMC

Job Summary:
As a Dispenser at C-Care Kololo, you will play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. You will be responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, and dispensing of medications and medical supplies to both hospital units and direct clients. Your professional demeanour and excellent communication skills will ensure patients receive proper counselling, leading to improved treatment adherence and health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
• Accurately prepare and dispense prescribed drugs and medical supplies.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and records of all pharmacy transactions.
• Provide clear and empathetic counselling to patients on medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
• Ensure proper storage and inventory management of pharmaceuticals.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff to support patient care plans.
• Adhere to all national pharmacy regulations and C-Care's standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional pharmacy environment.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• A recognised Diploma in Pharmacy or a related field from a Ugandan institution.
• Valid practising licence from the Allied Health Professionals Council.
• Proven experience working as a dispenser or pharmacy technician in Uganda is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Integrity, professionalism, and empathy in dealing with patients.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
