Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for research, innovation, and enterprise activities
- Develop and implement research policies and frameworks
- Foster partnerships with industry, government, and international institutions
- Secure research funding and grants from local and international sources
- Promote innovation and technology transfer initiatives
- Oversee research ethics and integrity standards
- Mentor academic staff in research development and publication
- Drive the university's research agenda in alignment with national priorities
Qualifications and Requirements:
- PhD degree from a recognised university
- Minimum rank of Associate Professor
- Proven leadership experience in academic administration
- Strong research publication record in reputable journals
- Experience in research grant acquisition and management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
