Dental Nurse Job in Lira - Join C-Care Uganda's Healthcare Team

As a Dental Nurse at C-Care Uganda, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental surgeons and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. You will be at the heart of our dental operations, contributing to positive health outcomes for our patients in the Lira region.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist the dental surgeon during various clinical procedures and treatments
• Prepare and maintain dental treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterilised and ready for use
• Maintain the highest standards of infection prevention and control in accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines
• Provide chair-side assistance during dental examinations, surgeries, and other procedures
• Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation of treatments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
• Handle dental materials, instruments, and equipment with proper care
• Ensure a comfortable and positive experience for all patients
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and place orders when necessary

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution, with a valid practicing licence from the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council
• Additional certification or training in dental nursing is a strong advantage
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a dental clinic or hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with dental professionals
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Compassionate, professional, and reliable
