Data and Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Job at C-Care Uganda - All IMC Facilities

In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of our data-driven decision-making process. You will transform raw operational and clinical data into meaningful insights, interactive dashboards, and comprehensive reports that directly support strategic planning, performance management, and improved patient care outcomes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with hospital management, department heads, and clinical teams to understand key business questions and translate them into clear analytical requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualisations that provide real-time insights into hospital performance, finance, and patient services.
• Extract, clean, and analyse complex datasets from various hospital systems to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular analytical reports for senior leadership to guide strategic decisions.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all reporting platforms.
• Provide training and support to staff on using data tools and interpreting reports to foster a data-informed culture.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role, preferably within the healthcare, hospital, or service industry in Uganda.
• High proficiency in data analysis tools, especially Microsoft Power BI and Excel. Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tell compelling stories with data.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
