About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative at Airtel Uganda, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring their inquiries are handled professionally and their issues are resolved efficiently. You will be instrumental in maintaining Airtel's reputation for excellent customer care and helping Ugandans stay connected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or other designated channels.
  • Resolve customer complaints and service issues, providing effective solutions in line with Airtel's policies.
  • Process various customer service requests, including activations, upgrades, and billing queries.
  • Provide clear information about Airtel's products, services, data bundles, and airtime offers.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Strive to achieve high customer satisfaction and first-contact resolution rates.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Diploma in any field from a recognised institution.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the telecoms, retail, or service industry in Uganda.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of local languages (e.g., Luganda) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a patient, empathetic attitude.
  • Proficiency in using computers and standard office software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
