Job Responsibilities

As a Claims Assessor at our Entebbe office, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and fair claims processing. Your key duties will include:

• Reviewing and validating insurance claims with accuracy and attention to detail
• Communicating professionally with clients, brokers, and service providers regarding claim status
• Processing claim payments in accordance with company policies and Ugandan insurance regulations
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date claim records and documentation
• Analysing claim information to determine coverage and settlement amounts
• Collaborating with other departments to resolve complex claim issues
• Ensuring compliance with the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda guidelines

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this Claims Assessor position, you should possess:

• Diploma in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognised institution
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in insurance claims assessment or processing
• Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and practices in Uganda
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in computer applications and claims management systems
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity and ethical standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
