Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and execute comprehensive investment strategies aligned with NSSF's long-term objectives
• Oversee the management of the Fund's investment portfolio across various asset classes
• Provide strategic leadership to the investment team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and investment policies
• Monitor market trends and economic indicators to identify new investment opportunities
• Prepare and present investment reports to the Board and relevant stakeholders
• Manage investment risks and implement robust risk mitigation strategies
• Build and maintain relationships with investment partners, brokers, and financial institutions

Qualifications & Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (PhD preferred)
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, or CPA are highly desirable
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in senior investment management roles
• Proven track record of managing large investment portfolios (preferably in pension or institutional funds)
• Strong understanding of Ugandan and regional financial markets
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• High integrity and dedication to ethical investment practices
• Experience working with regulatory bodies in Uganda's financial sector
