About the Role

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be at the heart of transforming raw data into actionable insights that support strategic business decisions. You will work closely with various stakeholders across the company to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that enhance performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyse, and interpret complex business data from multiple sources.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using BI tools.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through detailed data analysis.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data reporting.
• Provide clear and compelling data insights and recommendations to department heads and management.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all reporting.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to improve data collection processes and systems.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Computing, or a related field from a recognised institution.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a business intelligence, data analysis, or similar role.
• High proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a simple way.
• Knowledge of the Ugandan business and telecommunications landscape is an added advantage.
