Job Description
CIC Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Mbarara operations. This is an excellent career opportunity for a dynamic insurance professional ready to drive business growth in Western Uganda.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement branch business strategies to achieve growth targets
• Lead and manage the Mbarara branch team to deliver exceptional customer service
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and partners
• Oversee branch operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
• Drive sales performance and market penetration in the Mbarara region
• Manage branch budget and financial performance
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities in Western Uganda
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in insurance management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Professional insurance qualification (ACII, AIIK or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of Uganda's insurance market and regulatory environment
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record in business development and team management
• Familiarity with Mbarara and Western Uganda business landscape
