BCP and Data Centre Officer Job at IM Bank Uganda - Kampala

IM Bank Uganda is seeking a skilled BCP and Data Centre Officer to join our Information Technology team in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity for a technology professional to ensure business continuity and maintain our critical data centre operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for all critical business functions
- Manage daily data centre operations and ensure 24/7 availability
- Conduct regular BCP tests and disaster recovery drills
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements
- Maintain data centre security protocols and access controls
- Coordinate with various departments for BCP alignment
- Document procedures and maintain accurate records
- Provide technical support for data centre infrastructure

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years experience in data centre management or BCP roles
- Knowledge of Ugandan banking regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of disaster recovery principles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
