Area Sales Representative Job in Busia - Insurance Sales

As an Area Sales Representative for NIC General, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, responsible for promoting our comprehensive range of general insurance products. You will play a key role in expanding our customer base and strengthening our market presence in the Busia region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities for general insurance products within the Busia area.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both individual and corporate clients.
- Conduct market research to understand local customer needs and competitor activity.
- Present, promote, and sell insurance products using solid arguments and professional sales techniques.
- Achieve and exceed agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments to ensure excellent customer service.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reports and feedback to the sales manager.
- Educate potential clients on the benefits and features of various NIC General insurance policies.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in insurance, financial services, or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with CRM practices.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build productive business professional relationships.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the Busia area.
- A minimum of a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
