The Uganda Women Parliamentary Association (UWOPA) is a dynamic parliamentary caucus that unites women Members of Parliament to champion gender equality and influence national policy. We are currently seeking talented and passionate professionals to join our mission of advocating for gender-sensitive legislation and women's empowerment in Uganda.
UWOPA periodically announces vacancies for various positions that support our critical work within the Parliament of Uganda. Available Job Opportunities at UWOPA

Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Contribute to UWOPA's strategic goals of promoting gender equality and women's representation.
- Support women MPs with research, policy analysis, and technical expertise.
- Engage with stakeholders, civil society organisations, and development partners.
- A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Gender Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in programme management, policy advocacy, research, or administration.
- Strong understanding of the Ugandan legislative process and gender issues.
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to feminist principles.
