The Uganda Women Parliamentary Association (UWOPA) is a dynamic parliamentary caucus that unites women Members of Parliament to champion gender equality and influence national policy. Available Job Opportunities at UWOPA

• Administrative Staff: Provide essential operational and logistical support to ensure the smooth running of the association.

• Communications Officers: Manage stakeholder engagement, media relations, and public awareness campaigns.


• Finance & Accounts Officers: Handle budgeting, financial reporting, and grant management for UWOPA activities.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Contribute to UWOPA's strategic goals of promoting gender equality and women's representation.


• Support women MPs with research, policy analysis, and technical expertise.


• Engage with stakeholders, civil society organisations, and development partners.


• A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Gender Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.


• Proven experience in programme management, policy advocacy, research, or administration.


• Strong understanding of the Ugandan legislative process and gender issues.


• Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.


• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to feminist principles.
