Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for optimising logistics and driving efficiency? Diageo, a global leader in beverage alcohol, is seeking a talented Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Kampala, Uganda. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in our East African supply chain operations, analysing data to improve performance and support our iconic brands.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
- Monitor and report on inventory levels across the Ugandan and regional network to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Develop accurate demand forecasts by collaborating with sales, marketing, and commercial teams.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
- Support the implementation of supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency and resilience.
- Prepare regular performance reports and dashboards for management review.
- Utilise data analysis tools to model scenarios and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a supply chain, logistics, or data analysis role, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, or a related sector in Uganda.
- High proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SAP, or other ERP systems).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
