Seat Control Specialist Job at Bamboo Airways in Eastern Region, Uganda

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage seat inventory across Bamboo Airways' flight network.
- Optimise seat allocation to maximise flight revenue and load factors.
- Coordinate with airport ground staff, reservations, and sales teams to ensure accurate seat control.
- Handle seat upgrades, reassignments, and special seating requests in accordance with company policies.
- Analyse booking trends and provide reports to support revenue management decisions.
- Resolve seat-related issues and discrepancies promptly to ensure smooth flight operations.
- Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations and company procedures regarding passenger seating.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field.
- Prior experience in airline reservations, ticketing, or revenue management is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team coordination.
- Proficiency in computer systems and airline reservation software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced aviation environment.
- Must be a resident of Uganda or have the right to work in the country.
