Recruitment Consultant Job in Uganda - 64 Staff for UHTTI
Job Description
The Uganda Hotel and Tourism Training Institute (UHTTI), through the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities (MoTWA), invites qualified and experienced consultants or consultancy firms to submit proposals for a major recruitment exercise. This is a prestigious opportunity to provide consultancy services for the recruitment of 64 new employees for Uganda's leading hospitality and tourism training institution.
This consultancy role is critical for supporting the growth and development of Uganda's tourism sector by ensuring UHTTI is staffed with skilled professionals. The successful consultant will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from advertising and shortlisting to final selection, adhering to public sector guidelines and best practices.
Key Responsibilities of the Recruitment Consultant:
- Design and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy for 64 various positions at UHTTI.
- Develop job descriptions, person specifications, and advertisement materials.
- Manage the application and shortlisting process efficiently and transparently.
- Coordinate and potentially facilitate interview panels and selection exercises.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with Ugandan public sector regulations and MoTWA guidelines.
- Provide a detailed final report on the recruitment exercise.
Requirements for Applicants:
- Proven experience as a recruitment consultant or firm, preferably with public sector or institutional clients in Uganda.
- Demonstrable track record of managing large-scale recruitment drives (50+ positions).
- In-depth knowledge of Ugandan labour laws and public service recruitment procedures.
- Excellent project management, communication, and organisational skills.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality, tourism, and education sectors in Uganda is a distinct advantage.
- Capacity to deliver the project within the stipulated timeframe.
