Compassion International, a leading Christian child development organisation, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Program Support Specialist to join our team in Kampala, Uganda. About the Role

As a Program Support Specialist, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to our programme teams. You will play a key role in the successful implementation of projects that directly impact children and families across Uganda. Your work will ensure our initiatives run efficiently and achieve their objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support for programme implementation in Uganda.
• Assist in the planning, monitoring, and reporting of all programme activities and initiatives.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, training sessions, and field events.
• Maintain accurate programme documentation, databases, and records in compliance with organisational standards.
• Support effective communication and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Help prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence related to programme progress.
• Ensure the timely flow of information and resources to support field operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Proven experience in programme support, administration, or coordination.
• Previous work with a non-governmental organisation (NGO), non-profit, or community development organisation is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management.
• Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
