National Director Job Opportunity at Habitat for Humanity Uganda

Habitat for Humanity Uganda (HFHU) is seeking an experienced and visionary National Director to lead our operations across Uganda. As part of the global Habitat for Humanity International network operating in over 70 countries since 1976, we are committed to improving living conditions through affordable housing solutions.

This senior leadership position offers an exceptional opportunity to drive meaningful change in Uganda's housing sector while working with a respected Christian organisation dedicated to community development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide strategic leadership and direction for HFHU's programmes and operations
• Oversee the implementation of housing and community development projects nationwide
• Manage financial resources, budgets, and ensure organisational sustainability
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, donors, and community partners
• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of professionals across Uganda
• Represent HFHU at national and international forums

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced degree in relevant field (Development Studies, Business Administration, Social Sciences)
• Minimum 10 years of senior management experience in NGO or development sector
• Proven track record in strategic planning and organisational leadership
• Strong financial management and fundraising capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Commitment to Christian values and community service
