Motor Vehicle Mechanic & Service Technician Job in Uganda 2025

Raising The Village is seeking qualified and experienced automotive service providers for a long-term contract opportunity. We are requesting quotations for comprehensive motor vehicle repairs, service, and maintenance for our fleet operations across Uganda for the 2025 period.

This is a significant opportunity for established garages, workshops, or skilled mechanics to partner with a reputable NGO dedicated to poverty eradication in Uganda. You will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of vehicles remains in optimal condition to support our community development programmes in rural areas.

Key Responsibilities & Services Required:

• Perform routine vehicle servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and overhaul of engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Provide timely breakdown and recovery services across various regions in Uganda.
• Supply genuine or high-quality spare parts and lubricants.
• Maintain detailed service records and provide monthly maintenance reports.
• Ensure all work complies with Ugandan traffic and safety standards.

Ideal Service Provider Requirements:

• Proven experience in motor vehicle repair and maintenance, preferably with 4WD vehicles.
• A fully equipped workshop with necessary tools and equipment, located in Uganda.
• Certified and skilled mechanics with valid practice licenses.
• Ability to provide references from previous clients or organisations.
• Strong commitment to reliability, quality workmanship, and fair pricing.
• Willingness to travel to different field locations as required.
