Raising The Village invites qualified and experienced automotive service providers in Uganda to submit a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for comprehensive motor vehicle repairs, service, and maintenance for the 2025 period. This is a valuable tender opportunity for established garages, workshops, and mechanical service companies looking to partner with a reputable non-profit organisation dedicated to community development.
We are seeking reliable partners to ensure our fleet of project vehicles operates at peak efficiency to support our vital fieldwork across Uganda. This tender covers scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and general servicing for our organisation's vehicles.
Key Responsibilities & Service Scope:
- Perform routine scheduled maintenance services (oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections, tyre rotations).
- Conduct diagnostic checks and execute mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Provide emergency breakdown and recovery services within agreed response times.
- Supply genuine or high-quality spare parts with proper warranties.
- Maintain detailed service records and provide timely reports for each vehicle.
- Offer preventive maintenance advice and cost-effective servicing solutions.
Requirements for Applicants:
- Registered and licensed automotive repair business operating in Uganda.
- Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in vehicle maintenance and repair, preferably with 4x4 and project vehicles.
- Fully equipped workshop with necessary tools, diagnostic equipment, and skilled mechanics.
- Valid trading licence, VAT registration, and up-to-date tax clearance certificate.
- Strong references from previous clients, especially other NGOs or large fleets.
- Ability to provide transparent, detailed, and competitive pricing.
