C-Care Uganda, a leading private healthcare provider, is seeking qualified and dedicated Medical Officers to join our dynamic team at the International Hospital Kampala (IHK) and our International Medical Centres (IMCs). Job Summary:
As a Medical Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients across our units, wards, and clinics. You will ensure the delivery of efficient, effective, and profitable medical services while upholding the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction. You will report directly to the Director of Medical Services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, examinations, and assessments.
- Formulate conclusive diagnoses and implement appropriate treatment plans.
- Manage patient care in assigned units, including wards, outpatient clinics, and emergency departments.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Adhere to all clinical protocols, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in continuous medical education and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive patient experience and uphold the reputation of C-Care Uganda.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent from a recognised institution.
- Full registration and a valid annual practicing license from the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC).
- Proven clinical experience as a Medical Officer is a strong advantage.
- Excellent diagnostic, decision-making, and patient management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning.
