Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, software, and network systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users across UCAA facilities.
• Assist in the maintenance of critical aviation IT infrastructure at Entebbe International Airport and upcountry aerodromes.
• Ensure all IT systems comply with UCAA and international aviation security standards.
• Perform routine system checks, updates, and preventive maintenance.
• Document IT procedures, incidents, and inventory accurately.
• Collaborate with the IT team on projects to enhance system performance and reliability.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A minimum of a Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Proven hands-on experience in IT support, hardware maintenance, and network administration.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to service.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Prior experience in a regulated or aviation environment is a distinct advantage.
