About the Role:
As an HR Business Partner at Watu, you will serve as a strategic consultant to management on human resource-related issues. You will act as an employee champion and change agent, anticipating HR-related needs and delivering value-added service that reflects the business objectives of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
• Analyse trends and metrics to develop solutions, programmes, and policies.
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective and objective investigations.
• Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, ensuring compliance with local Tanzanian labour laws.
• Support talent acquisition and onboarding processes for key roles.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues as an HR Business Partner or similar role.
• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organisational diagnosis, diversity, and performance management.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Strong understanding of Tanzanian employment laws and regulations.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-national environment is a plus.
