Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor - Marriott International Kampala (Pre-Opening)

Marriott International, the world's leading hospitality company, is seeking an experienced Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor for our new pre-opening hotel in Kampala, Uganda. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the launch team for a prestigious international hotel brand in Uganda's capital city.

Job Location: Ggaba Road Plot: 2646 Block 15 Nsambya, Kampala, Central Region, Uganda

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping and laundry operations
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff on Marriott International standards
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and laundry equipment
• Ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet Marriott's cleanliness standards
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
• Conduct quality control inspections of rooms and facilities
• Manage laundry operations including washing, drying, and ironing
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in hotels
• Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent knowledge of cleaning procedures and laundry operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced pre-opening environment
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage
