Hotel Painter Job in Kampala - Marriott International Pre-Opening

Position: Painter (Pre-Opening Team)
Location: Ggaba Road Plot 2646, Block 15 Nsambya, Kampala, Central Region, Uganda

Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare surfaces for painting including cleaning, sanding, and filling
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
• Mix and match paints to achieve desired colours and textures
• Maintain painting equipment and ensure proper storage of materials
• Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
• Work collaboratively with other maintenance team members
• Complete painting tasks according to hotel opening timeline

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a professional painter in Uganda
• Knowledge of painting techniques and materials
• Ability to work with various tools including brushes, rollers, and sprayers
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Valid certification in painting or related field is an advantage
