Job Description
The Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities is seeking qualified Management Entity services for the Uganda Hotel and Tourism Training Institute and Crested Crane Hotel in Jinja. This is a prestigious opportunity to contribute to Uganda's growing tourism sector while managing key hospitality training facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive management services for UHTTI and Crested Crane Hotel
• Oversee daily operations and strategic direction of both facilities
• Implement quality standards in hospitality and tourism training
• Manage staff, resources, and operational budgets effectively
• Ensure compliance with Ministry regulations and tourism industry standards
• Develop and maintain partnerships with tourism stakeholders
• Enhance the institute's reputation as a leading tourism training centre
Requirements:
• Proven experience in hotel and tourism management
• Strong background in hospitality education management
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills
• Understanding of Uganda's tourism landscape
• Experience working with government institutions preferred
• Relevant qualifications in tourism or hospitality management
