Government Jobs in Kampala: Various Positions at Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife & Antiquities

The Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife & Antiquities of Uganda is seeking to recruit qualified and dedicated Ugandan professionals for various positions within its Secretariat. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development and promotion of Uganda's tourism sector, wildlife conservation, and cultural heritage.

Successful candidates will be appointed on contract terms and will work directly under the Permanent Secretary's office in Kampala. This recruitment drive aims to strengthen the Ministry's capacity to implement its strategic objectives and deliver quality services to the public.

Key Responsibilities & Opportunities

• Support the Secretariat in administrative, technical, and operational functions.
• Contribute to policy implementation, programme coordination, and project management.
• Assist in the development and promotion of Uganda's tourism, wildlife, and antiquities.
• Participate in inter-ministerial and stakeholder engagements.
• Prepare reports, briefs, and documentation for the Permanent Secretary.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be a Ugandan citizen with a valid National ID.
• Relevant academic qualifications (Diploma, Degree, or higher) in fields such as Public Administration, Tourism, Wildlife Management, Business Administration, Law, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Professional experience in government, public service, or relevant private sector roles is an advantage.
• Strong communication, organisational, and computer skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to public service.
