Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
• Develop and monitor organisational budgets and financial forecasts
• Ensure strict compliance with Ugandan accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
• Assist senior management with financial planning, analysis, and decision-making support
• Maintain proper financial records and documentation for audit purposes
• Utilise accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field from a recognised institution
• Professional certification such as ACCA or CPA is highly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in a similar finance or accounting role in Uganda
• Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills
• Excellent analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail
• Thorough understanding of Ugandan financial regulations and tax laws
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
