Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UN Women financial rules and regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Support procurement processes, including preparing documentation and liaising with vendors.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing correspondence, filing, and office documentation.
- Coordinate logistical arrangements for meetings, workshops, and official events.
- Manage office supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance.
- Assist in travel arrangements and processing of travel authorisations for staff.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognised institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in finance and administration.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and financial management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of local Ugandan languages (especially Luganda) is a significant advantage.
- Experience working with international organisations or NGOs is desirable.
