Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Develop and manage the company's budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Support the finance team with data-driven insights to guide business strategy.
- Ensure compliance with local Ugandan accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide analytical support.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field from a recognised institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a similar role within Uganda or the East African region.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modelling) is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
