Field Collections Team Leader - Vehicles Job in Uganda

MOGO LOANS LIMITED is seeking an experienced Field Collections Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Uganda. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to lead our vehicle collections operations and drive performance excellence in the financial services sector.

As a Field Collections Team Leader - Vehicles, you will play a crucial role in managing our field collections team and ensuring efficient recovery operations across Uganda.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assign and coordinate field visit cases to field collection agents
• Provide strong leadership and daily performance coordination with repossession officers
• Mentor and support team members to ensure they can deliver optimal performance
• Conduct induction and training programmes for new debt collection hires
• Implement robust performance management systems with clear communication of expectations
• Identify training needs and develop training materials for team development
• Develop strategies to ensure team adherence to debt collection policies and performance goals
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate process changes and target achievements
• Monitor and train staff on field collection tools and company ERP system usage
• Generate detailed performance reports and submit process improvement suggestions
• Ensure daily repossessed vehicles align with system reports and are correctly updated

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in field collections or debt recovery
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate teams
• Fluent in English with strong reporting capabilities
• High level of integrity and loyalty
• Ability to adapt quickly and work independently
• Experience with field collection tools and ERP systems preferred
