Feeder-Grow Out Fish Farm Job at Yalelo Uganda - Butembe-Buikwe

Yalelo Uganda, a leading aquaculture company in Uganda, is seeking a dedicated Feeder-Grow Out professional to join our Lake Operations team in Butembe-Buikwe. This is an exciting opportunity to work in Uganda's growing aquaculture sector and contribute to sustainable fish farming practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage fish feeding schedules and protocols
• Maintain optimal water quality parameters in grow-out ponds
• Conduct regular fish health assessments and growth monitoring
• Implement biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks
• Coordinate harvesting activities and stock management
• Maintain accurate production records and reports
• Operate and maintain aquaculture equipment and facilities

Requirements:
• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or equivalent
• Previous experience in aquaculture or fish farming preferred
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions near Lake Victoria
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills
• Physical fitness for manual tasks in aquaculture operations
• Willingness to work in Butembe-Buikwe location
