Director of Quality Assurance Job at University of Kigali - Rwanda

The University of Kigali, a fully accredited private institution with over 8,000 students from 33 countries, is seeking an experienced Director of Quality Assurance to join our leadership team in Kigali, Rwanda. As the Director of Quality Assurance, you will play a strategic role in maintaining and enhancing the university's academic standards and operational quality. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Establish and oversee comprehensive quality assurance systems across all university departments
• Coordinate regular academic programme reviews and institutional assessments
• Ensure compliance with national and international accreditation standards
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and best practices
• Lead institutional effectiveness monitoring and reporting
• Collaborate with academic and administrative units to maintain quality benchmarks
• Manage quality assurance documentation and regulatory reporting

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• PhD in Business Administration, Higher Education Management, or closely related field
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a recognized university setting
• Proven track record in quality assurance and academic administration
• Strong understanding of higher education accreditation standards
• Excellent leadership and strategic planning capabilities
• Experience working in multicultural academic environments
