As a Data Engineer at Living Goods, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring reliable data pipelines and supporting our mission to save lives through innovative healthcare solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, construct, install, test and maintain highly scalable data management systems
• Build high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models and proof of concepts
• Develop data set processes for data modelling, mining and production
• Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures
• Create custom software components and analytics applications
• Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering role
• Strong experience with SQL database design
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and other programming languages
• Experience with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
• Knowledge of data pipeline and workflow management tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
