Job Summary:
The Administration Officer will provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our Yumbe office. You will be a key player in supporting our field teams who deliver essential services to refugee and host communities in the region.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Manage day-to-day office administration, including correspondence, filing systems, and supplies inventory.
* Coordinate logistical support for staff travel, workshops, meetings, and field activities.
* Oversee office facilities management, including maintenance, security, and cleanliness.
* Provide support in the procurement of goods and services following organisational policies.
* Manage office assets and equipment, ensuring proper registration, maintenance, and disposal.
* Support human resources functions related to staff records and onboarding for the field office.
* Act as a focal point for administrative communication between the field office and the country office.
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
* Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in office administration, preferably with an NGO or international organisation.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment and under pressure.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of local languages in West Nile is an added advantage.
